Style them FaBuLoUs

I'm so excited. I've had a blog I've been following and I love the hair styles that she does - soooo, I called and made an appointment for next Thursday ---yeah! Yes, it is a little crazy to drive to Layton to get a hair cut but what the heck! Thanks to Mary for babysitting!

Oh, oh, oh it's magic!

So for a month and a half, we (Logan) have been waiting for the Wizards of Waverly Place Movie. Ohhhh....... Since Brian went to have fun in Alaska, I decided we could have fun here. I bought some "magic" items to snack on that night while we watched our movie. Magic Shell ice cream topping, giant pixie stick "wands" that turned their mouth blue, chocolate milk and popcorn. It was a good time.

Free Shipping?

Brian had a little surprise today. A UPS truck backed into his parked truck at work. Then the driver left. Must be on a tight schedule. When I know more, I'll share more.

Ultimate Compliment???

My mom gave me an awesome apron for my birthday this year. I love it! I've been wearing it when I cook dinner. Last night Logan looked at me and said,"You look like the lunch ladies." I said, "Really? Just like 'em?" "Ya, but their hair is bigger!" What do you think? He could have said a lot of things, flat hair isn't bad.

Temple Day

Today was a special Sunday for Utah. The Oquirrh Mountain Temple dedication. Our stake president sent a letter to each family urging us to make this a special day. We actually got tickets to attend the dedication but only two of us could attend. We decided to have a special family home evening like we were asked. We visited our temples in Utah County. On the way we read the information from our stake president's letter and talked about why temples are important and why we have temples. It was a great time. I think that we learned a lot as a family. Bailee is not pictured at the temple but I did take a picture of her asleep to let you know what she was doing.

Just some cute pictures of Bailee - in case you wondered if she could get any cuter!

Fun with Nick & Claire & Jake

We had a great day on Friday. Mary came down with the kids and played in the pool and had dinner. It was a great time. It's so nice to have them home!

First Day of School 2009

I hope that the pictures aren't too shaky. I tried to control the "Happy Dance" as much as I could. They are so excited to go today! I hope they have a great day. I love that Zac puts his arm around Logan. They really became great friends this summer. As they walked across the lawn and down the road Zac still had his arm over Logan's shoulder. Ummm, now what to do, what to do???? I'm getting on the treadmill!

Discussing Life with Zach

I have tender hearted boys! Zach and Logan found this butterfly in Grandma Crump's yard. Beautiful isn't it?

Pine Wood Derby - Race Night

.

Pine Wood Derby - Construction

I am so proud of Zach this morning. He had the best time racing his car last night. He really enjoyed every moment. From start to finish Zach took care of his car. He did a great job. Grandpa Crump is an expert in creating the best PWD car so I took Zach to Idaho to get his help. Yes, Brian could have done this but growing up neither Brian or I had any experiences with our Grandpas. We really felt like this was important. Watch out Grandpa Andrew - your turn is next! I thought we could cut the car out with a coping saw, yeah I thought wrong. First, I am right handed and Zach is left handed. I would get the cut started and turn it over to him. It just didn't work. Thanks to Aunt Amanda who had a scroll saw & and extra PWD block and could follow Zach's pencil marks exactly. She also salvaged the original car and Logan adopted it as his. After Amanda's we went to WalMart and the boys selected their paint colors. We went to Grandma's store and both boys sanded and sanded their cars. They both did a great job. Grandpa Crump and Zach worked on the wheels, the axles and drilled new axle holes Thursday night. Thanks so much for everyone's help. It turned out really great.

Cassia County Fair Parade

I had the chance to take the boys and Bailee home to watch the parade, go to the fair and rodeo. We loved the parade. The boys collected way more candy than they needed. They loved the fire trucks and ambulances and the farm equipment. There favorite float was the temple float and the fruit & veggie float. It was hot but there was a nice breeze to keep it cool.

8 weeks old -- WOW!

Seriously, where does the time go? Bailee has been here for 8 weeks. It feels like years some days. Funny how you can love someone so fast and so much. Isn't she changing? The boys' feelings haven't changed at all. They still fall all over her. I was bathing her the other day and she was CRYING! Sometimes bath time just isn't her favorite. Each of her brothers came in to see what was happening. She has good protectors.

Bailee -- 7 Weeks

Bailee - can you believe that you have been here for 7 weeks! We sure love you! Grandma Crump, here's one of the outfits that you gave her. It fits, can you believe it?

Bowling 101

Today we went bowling. I'm pretty sure that everyone had a good time. I have to say that I did come in last place. I had a very hard time finding a ball that would work. I told Logan that I was losing and he said, "Mom, isn't it about having fun?" Yep! It is! We did review the rules & etiquette of bowling and how to select a ball. Those were the requirements to earn a belt loop in Cub Scouts.

The Saga Ends!

The tooth that kept hanging and hanging. I bet Logan had this tooth hanging for most of the summer. It was so loose, I think it moved when he took a breath.

Amy and Grandma Andrew pulled both teeth out this weekend. Logan made a killing between the bribes and the tooth fairy. Notice how far the new teeth are grown in!

Blessing Bailee

Thanks so much to everyone who came and stayed this weekend! We really had a great time and wish everyone lived closer!

Andrew Family Reunion

We had the chance to go to Krista & Shawn's for the Andrew Family Reunion. Thanks guys! We had a great weekend. Friday we went to Roaring Springs - a water park - and the kids and adults had a great time. Everyone got wet and stayed cool and no one got seriously sunburned. Sorry, I forgot my camera in the van - we were there-promise! The next day we went to the Canyon County Fair. The kids had a great time watching clown make what they wanted out of balloons, eating fair food, looking at the animals and riding the rides at the carnival. Sunday, AJ was blessed and we enjoyed a great meal!
