Hayden's First Day of School - Perfect

Today was my Hayden's first day of school. He was so excited. He was up early, dressed, shoes on and breakfast eaten. Bailee, Logan and I walked him to school. The PTA sponsored a Cookies and Kleenex event. Everyone had a cookie, got their picture taken and moms who needed one - were handed a Kleenex.
We listened to a story called "The Kissing Hand", we kissed our hand touched our cheeks, said our good byes and then..... I was outa there!
He did raise his hand and asked his teacher, "When will start our perfect day?" When he got home I asked him how it was - his reply, "Perfect."
I sure love Hayden.

We are so easily entertained. Bailee started walking Saturday and Sunday - now we can't get her to stop. She's pretty funny to watch. She can almost keep up with Gretal. Gretal is her dog - Bailee gives Gretal kisses all the time. Probably more than she gives her brothers or her dad. Tonight they were playing tug-of-war. It was pretty darn funny. Here's a sample for you!

First Day of School

In all seriousness, the first day of school is pretty awesome. When I got back from running, the boys were standing out on the corner dressed, breakfast eaten and back packs on - it was 7:15 AM. Oh my goodness. They were almost as excited as I was. Logan is in 2nd grade - hard to believe. Seems like he was just in Kindergarten. Logan has a lot of friends in his class and a super good teacher. At our school - all the teachers are great. Zach is in 5th grade. He's really grown up a lot. He has a lot of friends in his class so he was super excited. Hayden also did his testing with his teacher today - he will start school next Wednesday. He's going to have a great time!

First French Braid

I'm a little tired of the same pony tail or piggy tails that Bailee has been sporting! I decided to try a French braid. She held still the best she could and after Grandpa Crump told me I was pulling to hard (I really didn't realize) this is the result. Not too bad and it has happened again so she is patient with her mom!

Hayden's Prize

We went to the Kane County Fair & Rodeo while we were in Orderville. At the Rodeo they had all the kids 7 and under go into the arena and chase chickens. If you caught one - it was yours!

I wasn't worried - Hayden isn't too fast (I'm not being mean, I know because I'm the mom) and Logan was chasing one poor chicken with fifteen other kids. I saw Hayden running toward the chutes and not wanting to lose him I headed over. As I got closer and guy was helping him with something - I thought "Oh great - he got hurt." Funny I couldn't hear him crying. The man helping him moved and low and behold --- Hayden's holding a huge red chicken. Look at the smile on his face. Priceless. He had this smile the entire night as he sat and held his chicken. We took it back to the trailer and then headed up to see Uncle Dellas. Surely he would have a box or something to contain such a fine prize.

When Uncle Dellas saw it he was quite excited. We hadn't caught a chicken but a fine Rhode Island Red ROOSTER! A rooster was not going home with me - Uncle Dellas said he'd been looking for just such a rooster. He and Hayden struck a deal. Uncle Dellas came out one rooster richer, Hayden came out two bucks richer and I came out with one thing less that poops at my house. Glory be!

Family Reunions

We have so much fun this summer with all of our families! The past two weekends were spent with the Elisons and the Sorensens. We had a great time with both families and we can't wait to see you all again!

Trek 2010

Trek 2010 was an amazing event. We have been preparing for the past few months to travel to Martin's Cove, Sixth Crossing and Rock Creek Hollow. Brian and I had the wonderful opportunity to be a ma and pa. We had such great kids. It was 4 days of some of the most spiritual experiences of my life. I hope that as I absorb everything that we did I can use that in my life and with my little family.

A big thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Andrew who gave up their time to come and stay with our kids. We really appreciate it! We came home to happy kids who had a ball with their grandparents!

The Hobbler Half Marathon and 5K

My birthday was the best. I ran my second 5K with my friend Stephanie, had a relaxing afternoon and went to dinner that night with some friends. It's kind of exciting to think about what I could be doing over the next year. I can't wait!

Bailee's first time in the pool was very interesting. She really didn't like it at first which is very evident from the picture above. It took five minutes but she ended up loving it!

The brothers have so much fun with Bailee. It's so fun for me to watch their interactions with their sister.

Another baseball season is done - yeah. What a great time we had. Hayden played t-ball and is a great little hitter! He played with all of the kids in our ward that are his age. Fun!
Logan played with kids in our ward as well. Nice to have parents you know so you can talk while you watch. Zach also had friends on his team. Hot, hot, hot but they enjoyed every minute.

Logan is a great hitter. He hit every time he was up to bat. In Zac's last game he hit a grand slam - he was very excited!

Andrew Family Reunion

Bailee is one! Holy cow! It's been such a fun year! She is such a joy to have in our home! Her brothers adore her. Her daddy adores her! Her mommy just loves her so much! We celebrated her birthday for a couple of day. Thursday we had her pictures done - I think they will be so cute! Grandma and Grandpa Andrew came down on Friday so they got to see her eat her cake. She did a great job! We love you Miss Bailee! Happy Birthday!

My Zac turned 10 this year! Wow. Where does the time go. He is such a good boy. A great brother and such a good helper! He invited a few friends over and we went bowling. It was a great time!

More Memorial Day fun

We had a great time in Preston over Memorial Day weekend! It was the inaugural trip for our trailer. It pulled great and it was so fun to stay in! Mom and Dad, Marc and Amanda also pulled their trailers up and we had a little wagon circle! We had so much fun. We didn't just sit around and talk - we played games, played volleyball, rode bikes and ate good food! Logan also learned to ride his bike this weekend!

Memorial Day

We went to Chesterfield on Sunday. I love going there. We cleaned the headstones and talked for a while and then went back to Preston. It was a good time. I hope that is a tradition that I can continue with my family. Grandma would have loved to see us. My boys are so big and she would have loved Miss Bailee!

Kallee's Surprise Party

We left Pleasant Grove on Friday and drove to Mesquite with Grandma and Grandpa Andrew. We at a buffet and went swimming. We had a great trip to Las Vegas for Kallee's SURPRISE birthday party! Ashley is a pretty awesome sister and threw a great party for her. Kallee had no idea that anything was happening and was TOTALLY surprised.

Hayden's Preschool Graduation

Hayden's preschool graduation was really cute. They sang a lot of songs and recited poems. It's amazing that he knows all of the words. He has a great little mind! He has a lot of kids in our ward his age. It's funny to think that in 12 years he will be graduating with the same group of kids.

Amy, Chris, Kaela, Kelsey and Bella came to visit this weekend. We had so much fun. Decided to hike up Battle Creek to the waterfall. It was a great way to spend the afternoon. After our hike we drove to BYU and got a YUMMY ice cream cone. Oh so good!
On Sunday we went to Farmington and hung out with the rest of the Crump family. What was the event -- Cute baby Paige was blessed. It was so much fun to hang out with everyone!

We had a great Easter weekend. It was so nice to have conference too! I didn't get any pictures. Yes, Bailee's first Easter and no pictures. That's how laid back everything was, so nice. My mom and dad came on Saturday, spent the night and had Easter dinner with us. It was nice to have family with us! My boys went back to Idaho with Grandma and Grandpa. The house -- quiet. This morning there were no footsteps above at 6:00 AM. I hope they had a good night! I wonder how long Bailee will sleep without the noise?

Logan wanted to participate in the school talent show. We tried and tried to figure out a talent, he finally just wanted to throw a baseball because he's really good at that - he really is. I talked to him about it and we decided to find something else. I found an awesome website that has fabulous magic tricks and shows you step by step how to perform them. Logan watched quite a few and decided on 2 that he really liked. He did such a good job. I'm very proud of him! This video is from the class performance this morning.

Dinosaur Museum

The Dinosaur Museum was so much fun. This is part of the "Try it out" place. Way fun!

This was a lot of fun today. The first time through, they hurried and looked at the stuff Zac thought was cool when he came earlier in the week. We went through a second time and took more time. We are going to have to go again. There is so much to see. Today was crazy because there no school and it was very crowded.

Zach had his last basketball game last Saturday. He has been really fun to watch. He jammed his pinky on his left hand during the first quarter so he had a pretty rough game. I felt bad for him. His pinky was black and blue and very swollen. Oh the hazards of basketball!

Cookbooks for SALE!

Hey everyone! Hope this post finds you all doing well. As you might guess I am selling cookbooks (read to the end to find out why). These are not just any cookbook. This cookbook is loaded with 388 pages of yummy recipes like this one.

Fettuccini Alfredo

2 T margarine

2 T flour

3 T cream cheese

1 clove Garlic

2 C. milk

½ cup Parmesan Cheese

Melt margarine over low heat. Mince garlic and sauté 1 minute in melted margarine. Stir in flour and gradually add milk and stir with wire wisk until smooth. Cook Stirring constantly until thick about 8 minutes on medium heat. Stir in Cream Cheese and cook 2 minutes. Add parmesan cheese and cook until melted. Serve over hot noodles.

NOTE: You could easily add chicken if you wanted.

There are also recipes for making your own cream soup (like Campbell’s,) tips like how to fold a napkin, which spice to use, and how to get rid of fruit flys. This thing is loaded.

Now, you may wonder why I am selling them. I am currently serving as the 1st Counselor to the Young Women’s President which entails lots of youth activities. This summer, we are taking the youth in our ward on a Pioneer Trek in Wyoming and this is the fundraiser that they are doing to pay for it and we only have 150 left to sell. Hayden had a great birthday! The big 05! He picked out a cake from Costco - thank you time saver! Brad, Amy, Tyler and Emily came over and celebrated with us. Okay, not really but she did roll over tonight! Twice back to front and once back to front and then back to front again. It was awesome. She's almost 8 months old so we've been watching and waiting. She has quite the cheering section - the boys get so excited and give her hugs and kisses when she's done. So fun! I will get Hayden's birthday pictures up soon. He had a great birthday!

What a great Sunday. A good day at church, a good day getting ready for church, dinner in crockpot and done ready to eat, baptism preview and ended it all by watching the end of The Lord of the Rings. Did you realize that I said baptism preview --- yes. Logan gets baptized this year. How exciting! Hayden's birthday is also this week -- he will turn 5! Wow - how time passes!

Zac's Basketball Game

Today was a busy day. I got up and went to my meeting at 7:30. Logan had to be to the stake center by 9:15 to practice his song, the stake RS meeting began and 10:00 and then it was home to have a break. Logan did a great job. He sang with a group of kids from our ward in front of a chapel full of people. I'm excite that he likes to do this, it's a good thing for him! Zac had basketball at 2:00 - it's fun to see how much improvement he is making each week. During the week we really need to get to the Rec Center and practice. Logan likes to do this as well. It just means evenings have to be different.

What a busy Saturday! I got up and went to Weight Watcher, then went to pick up the new trailer (yay!), Kelly came to install the hitch, Zac had a basketball game and Harold came to cut down the trees. Wow. The brackets didn't work to put the hitch on but we sure are glad Kelly and Brad to come and help. Sorry about your lip Brad! We have a few tree branches and trunks to pick up and clear up and now that you can see the side of the carport a little painting to do. The boys are so excited to have the trailer - we sat in it for a while this morning after it was parked. Hayden said,"This is so amazing!" We are so excited to go camping! It is now time for bed and sleeping in on Sunday -- YES!

Okay -- we aren't deleting the trailer post! I just delivered the check to night and got the title! So excited! Saturday, Brian and Kelly are going to tackle the hitch so we can pull it home. I've learned so much in the past few days. A fifth wheel is very different that a bumper pull. Just the hitch was a lot to learn about. Anyway, we are excited. All of us are very excited to go camping and create some great family memories over the next few years!

We have been looking at camping trailers, let me clarify -- I have been looking at camping trailers. I'm looking for a very large 72 hour kit. I also want to go camping a lot this summer but I'm lazy and don't want to pack everything every time we want to go. This is one I found today that I really like. Not as big as what we have been looking at but so clean and so nice. I have a few people who wanted to see pictures of it and this is just easier. If we don't buy it, I can just delete this post.

Today was Zac's first Junior Jazz game. He was so excited. He has a great coach and some good kids that he's playing with. He's never played before, I'm not even sure he's watched a game. From the beginning of the game to the end he learned so much. He loves to play and when he was done he couldn't wait for another game. We have been going to the Rec Center so now when we go will have plenty to work on. He's such a quick learner for everything, he'll pick this up quick! I'll post a little video tomorrow.

A Bailee update - really more for my information more than yours - sorry :) Bailee loves her brothers and smiles and looks for them when she wakes up. She is so fun to get out of her crib. When you unwrap the blankets she unfolds - her arms and leg spread as wide as she can get them and she s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-s and smiles. She is still taking a bottle in the mornings and nights and I am trying baby food at noon and dinner. She made the most terrible face with sweet potatoes but kept eating. She loves rice cereal and not mac and cheese. I can't bring myself to pay so much for baby food so I got my little baby food grinder out and bought a lot of canned veggies that I didn't have downstairs. She isn't teething yet and that really doesn't hurt my feelings at all. She is starting to move a little more but still not rolling. She will sit up unsupported for a while but I'm always right there. Her hair is getting longer and usually has a nice mohawk on top with a bow or flower on a headband. She is wearing 12 month clothing and weighs almost 20 lbs. She is fun to have around and loves to hang out in the kitchen with me in her walker. She makes the funniest and loudest clicking sound with her tongue, something I don't remember the boys making. Bailee is a chatter bug and talks a lot to whoever will listen.

Time passes too quickly! It seems like we were just decorating and waiting for Christmas and now it is gone so fast! This kids are back in school and life is back again!
Mary had her baby on New Year's Eve - yeah! So happy to have little Paige here safe and sound! For New Year's Eve, we went to dinner with our friends, the MacDonalds, the Rices and the Frenches (that looks funny - um.) After dinner we gathered all of our kids and went over to the Rice's and played games, ate yummy snacks and toasted the new year! The kids had a ball - really- Anna had punching balloons for each of the kids and then broke out the sparkling cider and "real" plastic champagne cups. It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed everyone's company.
Saturday, I had the chance to help Jenn Gray clean her house after her move. I don't know if it counts as cleaning, she and her mother had the house immaculate before any help got there. I'm excited for their new adventure! That afternoon Brian and the boys went and saw Alvin & the Chipmunks, they had a great time. Hayden did say the first one was better - really? I think he was 2 1/2 when he saw the first one. As soon as the boys left, Kelly called me and needed help - he was ready to throw up and his kids had been sick all week. I packed my Lysol, sanitizer, rubber gloves and mask and headed up. Yes, I was brave and I would do it again. I did get sick Monday night and Tuesday. It was lovely - Boise State played and so we had party food that night -- oh the joy of being sick after pepper poppers and guacamole! Any way life is back to normal - laundry, dishes, broken dryer. Yes broken dry, the drum belt broke. You know what though - I got online looked it up, took my dryer apart got online again, ordered that part, it came and now I'm just waiting to feel better and have a little Brian help and it will be fixed! If not --new dryer, or I could call a repairman.

Christmas 2009

Christmas was so much fun this year! Kelly, Mary, Claire, Nikolas and Jake came to our house on Christmas Eve. We ate yummy food and told the Christmas story. Everyone went to bed early - it was awesome. Christmas Day, I heard movement upstairs at 6:17 AM but no one ventured downstairs until 7:00 AM - on the dot! Zach and Logan each got a basketball, a Wii game and Legos. Hayden got a Wii game, Playmobil knights and a ball. Bailee got a fun toy that blows balls out and she has to put them back in. Everyone got pajamas and Sunday clothes. It was a great Christmas. I love waking up at my own house - sorry grandmas! Everyone played with their toys for a while and then we packed up and drove to Grandma and Grandpa Andrew's house. Everyone in Brian's family was there and it was fun to spend time with them and let all of the boys play. Kallee went through the temple on Saturday - it was awesome. I have never been to the Twin Falls Temple before. It felt like home. A few people that I knew where there and it was nice to see them. We left for home on Monday, but after stopping in Burley, decided to spend the night and play some more. It's nice not to be on a schedule and have a good boss who let Brian have another day off. We got home last night - later than expected but home. It was snowing and the roads weren't great and traffic was slow. What a great Christmas vacation!

Logan's Program

So today I earned my "Mother of the Year" nomination. I had in my head that Logan's program began at 2:30. At 2:00, I woke Bailee up and we all went down to the school. I looked at my clock in the van 2:18 - Great a little early, I should get a parking spot and a good seat. I pulled up to the school and there were cars every where. Uh, there must be more than one program today. What was I thinking? I walked in just as Logan was finishing and walking off the stage. I found him and said,"Good job Logan!" He instantly told me that he saw me walk in at the end. I felt terrible. He is my kid who needs all of my attention and needs me to be there. Ug.

Bailee is 6 months old!

So today I took Bailee to her six month doctor's visit - she makes us proud- the genes continue to produce our retirement. She is a whopping 19 lbs 7 oz and 28" long! Can you say 97th percentile? I knew she had grown but didn't realize just how much! At 6 months old she is babbling and growling and just making all kinds of noises. She responds to her name - usually because it is being said within one inch of her little nose. She can sit by herself for a moment, she smiles, and smiles and smiles. She's easily sleeping through the night. Her naps are getting shorter - around two hours now instead of three. She is eating rice cereal and loves it! Now she gets to eat more rice cereal and soon--- real people food (Does strained peas count as people food? This people don't eat that!) She's not rolling yet or even moving from side to side but she's so laid back, I figure it will come when it comes. Why rush mobility? No sign of teeth yet - Zac started teething at 6 1/2 months so I imagine that's coming. Overall, Bailee is a keeper!

Hayden's Christmas Program

Today was Hayden's Christmas program. The Funshine Preschool really does a good job. Hayden sang all the words and did all the actions. It was so fun to watch. After the program, Hayden got to talk to Santa Clause after and discuss the finer points of Christmas. Grandma and Grandpa we hope you enjoyed this! Wish you lived closer!

For Family Home Evening tonight, we decorated gingerbread houses. I thought I would be adventurous and make my own gingerbread pieces but the graham crackers won! It was really fun to sit and see how creative my boys are - they each had a very definite idea. Zac's is loaded with extras - a slide, a mailbox, a porch, the attic is insulated. Logan's is very thought out - symmetrical, patterns with colors and candies. Hayden's is also interesting and thought out. Notice the green jelly bean bushes under the porch in the front. We had a great time!

Crump Christmas Party - Lots of Pictures!!!

We had the first annual Crump Family Christmas party. It was a lot fun - we decided it would be more beneficial this year to have a party. We ate pizza, the kids made bead candy canes and bought things from Grandma's Christmas Store. Each of the grandkids has the chance to earn "Grandma Bucks". They did jobs around the house and I have to say -- it was very successful! Amanda was our auctioneer for the store. At times items were auctioned and other times she drew names of the kids and they could buy something from the store without bidding. It was so much fun to watch the kids have fun.

I love Logan! I'm so glad that he is mine! He is full of vim and vigor and SPUNK! Life would be so boring without him! He is such a good big brother. Bailee loves him! He and Zac are best friends and I love to watch them interact. Hayden and Logan are getting to be better friends - under my direct orders. Logan is a fantastic artist. He draw things that are creative and full of detail. He is getting to be a good little reader and his writing skills are awesome. I love to read his stories that he brings home from school. Logan is very honest. When asked how his day went, he tells you straight up. Somedays he missed some recesses, some days he has to practice be quiet, some days -- he gets all of his recess. I can't believe that next year he will be getting baptized. I clearly remember the day he was born. We went to the hospital around 7:00 AM and he was born by 10:00. I remember Regis and Kathie Lee was on tv. Spending Thanksgiving in the hospital wasn't the greatest but Brian dealt with it.Kelly and Mary took Zac and he spent the night and day with them. It was fun to have him come visit his brother in the hospital. Logan was very jaundice and we had to have him sleep under bili lights. I remember my mom staying with us & cooking Thanksgiving. I also remember Mom staying with Logan while Brian, Zac and I went to pick out a Christmas tree. Ah, good memories. Logan was the prettiest baby. So cute! We love you LOGAN!!! Happy 7th Birthday!

I know it is the season of giving. My head is hung low.... Okay! Back to HEADS up!!! This is the best early Christmas present that I have ever given myself. My vacuum has been slowly dying and I finally pulled the cord. I bought a Dyson and I love it. Yes, I got a great deal -- would I ever pay full price? This is the canister that collects the dust and this is the dirt from my living room floor. So disgusting! I can't wait to clean the carpet after the holidays!

Logan had his "unBirthday" Party on Monday, November 23rd. We had a great time! He invited his friends, we ate pizza & popcorn, played balloon games and watched "Up". Next time we'll skip the movie and just play balloon games. It was hilarious to watch these 6 & 7 year olds try to sit on a balloon and pop it! Logan is lucky to have such great friends!

Guess what! Bailee has been with us for 5 months! What a fun time! She is so chatty! I love to listen to her just babble away. Poor girl - gets that from both side of our families! Hayden absolutely adores her and is always in her face. Logan gets the most smiles and loves to tell her goodnight. Zac feeds her for me and tucks her into bed at night. When Bailee wakes in the morning all of her brothers are right there telling her good morning. I don't even know where to start with Brian - He just loves his daughter. It's a funny thing, the peace, calm and love that Bailee has brought to our home.

These are our Halloween photos. Hayden had a great program and party at his preschool. He sang a lot of cute songs and then we played all the games they had set up. They know how to party! On Friday, we went to the Halloween parade at Valley View and watched the boys and our friends parade in their costumes. Just in case you don't recognize Zac and Logan, they are Shy Guys from Paper Mario! Trick or Treating was awesome. The weather was just wonderful. The boys had a cough & sore throat on Saturday - yuck. Fever on Sunday. Stayed home on Monday & Tuesday. They were dying to go back to school on Wednesday so I let them go - still coughing. I think the cough might last a while. The rest of us are trying to recover as well.

Today was the first day of fall break. The boys did their jobs this morning and kind of hung out until we left for Farmington. We met Mary, Claire, Nikolas, & Jake and went to the pumpkin patch. We had carts that we could push around to carry our pumpkins. Zac and Hayden had their own carts and they were loaded with huge pumpkins. How much could pumpkins cost? We pulled the carts up to the scales to be weighed --- 164 pounds! Holy Moly! At 25 cents a pound I was quickly figuring out how much it would be in my head -- over $40. I looked at my boys and said, "Boys, I have a $20 budget. Pick your favorite pumpkin." I was very proud of them. They quickly picked the one they wanted and even put the others back in the field AND parked the cart. We ended up spending $15. Nice. That's something I can live with. Mary and I let the kids play in the little maze. They had a blast playing tag with each other.

It was a great day on the farm! Hayden, Bailee and I had a wonderful time walking through the corn maze, looking at the animals, hunting pumpkins, going on a high ride and Hayden even went down a huge slide in a burlap sack. Thanks to Havilah and Stephanie who held Bailee so I could help Hayden with some things. It was a little chilly when the breeze came up but such a nice day.

I love potato harvest! There is nothing like it on the face of this planet. The smell, the sounds, the feel! LOVE IT! The boys liked it too. They played on the piles of dirt the entire time. Johnny, Brad, Tyler, Lillian, Amy and Emily came to get potatoes with us. We had a lot of fun. It's good for these city boys to know about farming and where our food comes from.

She has the best little smile!

My little Bailee is growing just too fast. She's been sleeping through the night since she was 6 weeks old. It's been fantastic. I finally got her room organized and her bed made. Last night she slept in her own room for the first time. She is such a good girl. Hayden came into my room to tell Bailee good morning and only found an empty bassinet. He asked where she was and I told him she was a big girl and slept in her own bed. He asked where the next baby was to put in the baby bed. Um. The next baby.

We picked the apples yesterday. Today, Zac washed them and then Logan and Hayden took over. Logan put them on the peeler, peeled them - Zac removed them cut them in half and removed the core from the peeler. Hayden would then hold down the lever that allowed Logan to pull the arm back. They really worked well together. Logan and Zac each layered their apples into the crust and spooned pie filling over each layer.

The boys helped me make fresh apple pie today. It was a lot of fun. They mixed the shortening with the flour and salt. Then added water to make the dough into a ball. Zach held his up and said,"Is this good enough or does it have to be a perfect sphere?" Yes, he is Brian's son.

Kallee, Ashley, & Krista flew in Wednesday to attend the Keith Urban concert. We were lucky to be able to visit with them for a while and then go out to dinner. We sure wish we all lived closer! Grandma and Grandpa Andrew drove down and then flew to Vegas for a little while. It was super to see them too!

This is Brian's Alaskan catch -- actually purchased in Juneau and brought home. I think a shoe would taste good dipped in butter -- not as good as the crab. Crab isn't my favorite but it wasn't bad. The boys had a great time. They really liked cracking it open.

We went to Grandma & Grandpa Crump's house with Mary while Brian was in Alaska. We had a great time. Marc and I put baseboards in Mom's kitchen and dining room. While we did that, Amanda and Grandma took the kids to Albion to a really cool park and then to the dairy to see where milk comes from. The kids had a ball! I here there are some great pictures. I'll have to wait until Mom gets her latest purchase so she can burn me a cd.

So for a month and a half, we (Logan) have been waiting for the Wizards of Waverly Place Movie. Ohhhh....... Since Brian went to have fun in Alaska, I decided we could have fun here. I bought some "magic" items to snack on that night while we watched our movie. Magic Shell ice cream topping, giant pixie stick "wands" that turned their mouth blue, chocolate milk and popcorn. It was a good time.

My mom gave me an awesome apron for my birthday this year. I love it! I've been wearing it when I cook dinner. Last night Logan looked at me and said,"You look like the lunch ladies." I said, "Really? Just like 'em?" "Ya, but their hair is bigger!" What do you think? He could have said a lot of things, flat hair isn't bad.

Temple Day

Today was a special Sunday for Utah. The Oquirrh Mountain Temple dedication. Our stake president sent a letter to each family urging us to make this a special day. We actually got tickets to attend the dedication but only two of us could attend. We decided to have a special family home evening like we were asked. We visited our temples in Utah County. On the way we read the information from our stake president's letter and talked about why temples are important and why we have temples. It was a great time. I think that we learned a lot as a family. Bailee is not pictured at the temple but I did take a picture of her asleep to let you know what she was doing.

I love that Zac puts his arm around Logan. They really became great friends this summer. As they walked across the lawn and down the road Zac still had his arm over Logan's shoulder.
